Hello!! - Wellies here. When Anne Kristine asked me if I'd like to a guest post about a favourite christmas tradition of mine, I knew exactly what I wanted to share with you guys. The ritual of the Christmas Tree. 

I love decorating for Christmas! My Mum always made our house magical each year growing up and some of my favorite childhood memories surround themselves in Christmas and the mood she was able to create in our home. Christmas always started with a tree and since living with my boy in our own little house - this tradition has taken on a new meaning. I think having your own tree and starting that new family with your own box of decorations is really special. It's the thing I look forward to most every year - adding to it a decoration at a time - then at the end of the 12th day putting it all away and hiding it till next year. Our tree is a shrine of memories - I can tell you who or where we got the decorations from and I hope like my mum after 32 years of marriage I'll still be putting up and using some of the same decorations I have now.
